Today is the 31st anniversary of John Lennon's death. John embodied the hippie peace spirit and never strayed from his message of love and peace. This was a tragedy beyond words. I remember getting ready for school in 10th grade on December 8th and hearing on KZEW that John Lennon had been shot. Of all things...shot? How could this be? Well...here we are in 2011...almost 2012 and the world needs to make some positive changes. We just hit the 7 BILLION world population number...what we need now more than ever is a peacemaker. Someone who resonates with the vast majority of the people around the world. Who could fit this bill? Who could live up to those standards? Is it a religious leader, a spiritual leader, a politician or a rock star or perhaps a young entrepreneur? I challenge each and every one of you reading this (which is probably only 1 or 2 people with nothing else to do but read my ramblings) to propose someone, anyone, who could possibly steer or help steer this planet towards the right path. I'd love to hear all of your comments and opinions, as this may be the hope for a peaceful future.
